The Oncology Hospital, constructed in full compliance with World Health Organization (WHO) and with a modern architecture, has 13 floors, including a basement and technical floors. Hospital units include a patient admission office, outpatient polyclinics, radio-diagnostic departments, endoscopy and biopsy departments, chemotherapy and isotope departments, a physiotherapy and rehabilitation department, operating rooms, analysis and diagnosis department, a blood bank, pharmacy, medical library, 200-seat conference hall, cafeteria and
administrative offices. Following the hospital’s inauguration, the first operation was carried out by the President of Turkmenistan, Dr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
Structural Characteristics: The hospital has 21,000 m2 closed space on a total land of 56,000 m2. With 200 bed capacity, the hospital is designed to serve 40,000 patients a year.
