What is Hydroelectric Power Plant and How Does it Work?
Hydroelectric power plants, are facilities that generate hydroelectric power. Naturally or artificially, the water, which has attained a certain height, is transmitted to the turbines at a lower level than it. The water that hits the turbine wheels at the lower level very quickly turns the turbine shaft. Accordingly, the generator is running and electrical energy is produced.
The devices described above are found in dams. Here hydroelectric power plants are called all of the facilities where these systems are located.
