Wedding Palace (Bagt Kosgi)

Located in the southwestern part of Ashgabat, the Wedding Ceremonies Complex is a monumental building, first five floors of which have the shape of a rotating Turkmen star and the remaining five floors are in the form of a sphere resting on this Turkmen star and surrounded by five other Turkmen stars. There are remarkable  maps of Turkmenistan made of titanium on both surfaces of the glass sphere which represents the world with a diameter of 32 meters.

The building with 11 floors is surrounded by cascading waterfall fountains and decorative plants. Besides wedding and marriage ceremony halls, the building includes also several other units such as a hotel, a shopping center, bride rooms, waiting rooms, cafeterias and foyer spaces.
