OMM-ODUNPAZARI MODERN MUSEUM, is a platform where modern and contemporary art from Turkey and the world will be exhibited with a universal viewpoint, a platform that enables intercultural dialogue, and constantly regenerates itself and its surroundings.

OMM plans to open its doors in 2019 in Eskişehir. OMM believes art can go beyond the metropolises of the world and give a new lease of life to cities that make a difference with their cultural texture, and reach a greater audience through that expansion.

OMM has an approximate total area of 4.500 m²; featuring exhibition spaces, event venues, workshops, a café, and a museum shop.

In addition to its mission of preserving, exhibiting and expanding the collection it owns, OMM aims to create different viewpoints and open up new

horizons by shedding light on modern and contemporary art history with its multifaceted structure and constantly evolving program.

OMM desires to convey the historical path of art through educational programs; accelerate cultural development through seminars, artists’ meetings and publications; give young people and children a chance to enjoy the museum while they learn about art through workshops; and create an artistic meeting point with events that will step up the rhythm of the city.

With its power to encourage, pique curiosity, and bring people together; OMM believes art is a lighthouse for humanity. OMM sets out to become a platform that both draws on local values and manages to capture universal rhythms. With strong values, it aspires to be a platform that narrates, listens, produces, nurtures through that production, supports, and renders all fields of arts visible.
